IPTV Solution Architect

Global Service Deliver Center (GSDC) Ireland focuses on high value adding services based on customer intimacy, end-2-end customer understanding and business & technology leadership. We successfully complement the services Market Units (Local Ericsson Organizations) deliver themselves by providing experienced consultants with industry leading expertise in the areas of System Integration, Education, Network & Technology Consulting, Business Consulting, Core Network Supply and Integration and Managed Services.

As a part of our Global Service Delivery Organization you will play an important part in successfully delivering telecommunication projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa. With your base in Ireland you will be assigned to projects aboard with our customers and local organizations for durations of 2 weeks to 6 months (up to 70% of the year) where you will get the opportunity to work with a variety of different operators, experience other cultures and work in multi-cultural teams.

IPTV Solution Architect opportunities available

We are currently recruiting IPTV Solution Architects at Experienced and Senior levels based at our sites in Clonskeagh and Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland. You will act as the technical lead for all solutions, with a high level of Customer interaction and co-ordination with Product Development Units, Systems Integration Competence Centers and Customer Technical and Marketing Teams as well as 3rd Party suppliers. As technical lead you will be responsible to secure that the deliveries of solutions to customers, including Solution Description, Solutions Analysis, Dimensioning, High and Low Level Design, documentation, proposals, etc are made in a professional way.

• Do you have 2 or more years experience in a similar solution architect role? 
• Do you have experience in designing and delivering End to End IPTV projects? 
• Do you have knowledge of one or more of the following areas: 
  • Mobile TV
  • IMS 
  • Telecom Management
  • Charging
  • Digital Rights Management 
  • Content Management? 

• Do you have a proven ability to present complex solutions and build relationships at corporate level? 
• Do you have experience working with Bid Support and RFX’s? 
• Do you have excellent communication & presentation skills?
